GLOBAL 5500
Market SNAPSHOT

Today, we're breaking down the core market metrics to help owners, buyers, and corporate flight departments make informed decisions in the current environment. The Bombardier Global 5500 market is experiencing an unprecedented supply squeeze presenting distinct advantages and challenges for both sides of the transaction. Available pre-owned inventory has been completely exhausted across the entire 56 plane in operation fleet. The last pre-owned listing captured in the market data carried an asking price of $35.5 million. Despite the lack of secondary market listings, transaction velocity remains incredibly high. Factory new deliveries from the OEM are a large percentage of the market, driving a peak of four retail transactions in a single month this past June. With demand completely outpacing secondary supply, it is an extreme seller's market. and would therefore categorize the current demand rating as an A.

The Global 5500 market has remained strong, with only two aircraft currently for sale. A year ago, there was only one aircraft on the market for sale. Then the inventory continued to climb to four aircraft during the spring and summer months of 2025, and that inventory has slowly decreased. Prices have remained stable, with asking prices generally in the mid-30s to upper-40s range, depending on the vintage of the aircraft. Global 5500s are taking a bit longer to sell, with the days on market escalating to its highest peak point in October, and then gradually decreasing to its current value of 163 average days on the market. This is a 57% increase from this time last year. There have been 11 retail sales over the past 12 months, with a large percentage of those aircraft being new aircraft customer deliveries. The peak month for sales deliveries was in June of 2025, with three deliveries. One Global 5500 has transacted since the beginning of 2026. Based on the current supply and demand trends, there is about eight months of inventory on the market for sale. In summary, this market is strong.

This market has remained strong, with only one aircraft currently for sale. A year ago, there were four aircraft on the market for sale. The inventory declined significantly. During Q4 of 2025, there's currently one non-US registered aircraft for sale that has been on the market for over a year and is skewing the days on the market currently. Prices have remained stable, with asking prices generally in the mid-30s to upper 40s range, depending on the vintage of the aircraft. Global 5500, the day's on market, should be less than 90 days currently, but the aircraft that remains on the market has distorted those numbers a bit. There have been 12 retail sales over the past year, with a large percentage of those being new aircraft customer deliveries. The peak months for deliveries were in July and September of 2025, with 3 deliveries each month. 3 Global 5500s have transacted since the beginning of 2026. Based on the recent supply and demand trends, there is currently about 2.5 months of inventory on the market for sale. In summary, this market is very strong. OEM backlog for new global aircraft is helping to prop up the pre-owned market.
