market UPDATE

 The market continues to tighten with inventory levels down 50% from a year ago. The average asking price has decreased 11% over the past 12 months, and the 900 EXs are selling at a faster pace. Days on the market has also decreased 52% from this time last year. There have been 18 retail sales over the past 12 months, and the vintages of the aircraft sold have ranged from 1997 to 2001 models. Based on recent supply and demand trends, there's currently about six months of inventory on the market for sale. In summary, although there has been a decrease in asking prices, this market is very active and stable.  Aircraft with Elite 2, avionics upgrades, and recent 2C or 4C inspections are selling at a premium due to parts in component availability, ever present corrosion issues, and significant landing gear overhaul backlogs.  The supply and demand are balanced and in alignment and overall I'd categorize the Falcon 900EX market as a seller's market with recent sea checks and a buyer's market for aircraft with a two or four C coming due in the next three years or less.  I still give the 900EX market a balanced A demand rating.
