Citation x+
Market Report

Over the past 12 months, the Citation X+ market has remained extremely limited from an inventory standpoint, with available aircraft declining approximately 60% year-over-year. Despite that tightening supply environment, observed asking values have shown only modest softening, down approximately 3% compared to the prior year. Overall, market conditions continue to reflect a highly active environment with extremely limited inventory across the X+ segment. From a transaction standpoint, days on market have improved meaningfully over the past year, decreasing by approximately 123 days compared to May 2025 levels. Historically, the Citation X and X+ market experienced periods of elevated days on market during broader pre-owned market slowdowns. More recently, however, transaction timelines have normalized considerably. Over the past 12 months, there have been nine retail sales recorded across the Citation X+ market, with three recorded transactions so far in 2026, spanning 2014 through 2016 model year aircraft, reinforcing continued buyer interest across the fleet. Looking at supply and demand, the market is currently carrying approximately 2.7 months of inventory, reflecting an extremely limited supply environment overall.  Buyers remain active for properly equipped aircraft, particularly those with strong maintenance pedigree, modern connectivity upgrades, and engine program enrollment. The Citation 10-plus continues to appeal to customers, because of its combination of speed, cabin comfort, range capability, and modernized avionics. Even today, the aircraft maintains a unique position within the market, as one of the fastest civilian business jets ever produced, while continuing to offer the operational familiarity and support infrastructure many long-time Citation operators value. In summary, the Citation X+ market remains highly competitive, with limited inventory and improving transaction speed continuing to support strong buyer demand across the segment.  Overall, I'd characterize the Citation X+ market as active, and assign it a B demand rating.

The Citation X+ refined the original Citation X with winglets, a Garmin G5000 avionics suite, and aerodynamic improvements that pushed top speed to Mach 0.935 — reclaiming the title of fastest civilian aircraft at its introduction. Range and fuel efficiency improved alongside the speed gains, and the G5000 delivered a far more modern cockpit than the legacy Collins suite it replaced. The cabin accommodates up to twelve passengers, and the combination of extreme speed and transatlantic range makes the Citation X+ a one-of-a-kind platform for operators whose primary mandate is getting there first.
