market UPDATE
Let's start with a look at current supply and pricing. There are currently two aircraft actively for sale globally, which represents 3.1% of the total in-operation fleet. For those evaluating this inventory, the average asking price across available aircraft stands at $5,000,000. In terms of transactional velocity, timing has lengthened year-over-year. The average time it takes for an available aircraft to transition to a new owner, the days on market, is currently 382 days. This reflects a market with limited buyers, but it is also a product of the remaining aircraft available for sale, having been on the market for a very long time. Transactional volume remains low. Looking back at historical trends, retail sales have been limited, logging approximately one transaction per month. Recent buying activity and lack of new options on the market has shifted this from a balanced to a seller's market, giving us a current absorption rate of just over two months. In summary, I would classify this market as moving from a balanced to a seller's market, due to significant strengthening of inventory and pricing trends.

Inventory levels have decreased 14% from a year ago, and prices are increasing. The average asking price has increased 20% over the past 12 months, but this is skewed by the introduction of some lower-time, higher-priced aircraft in recent months. Encore+'s are selling at $1 at a slower pace overall. The days-on-market has increased 48% from this time last year. There have been 9 retail sales over the past 12 months, with 2 of them occurring in December. Three additional Encore+'s have transacted since the beginning of 2026. The vintages of aircraft that have sold since the beginning of December range from 2007 to 2009 models. Based on the recent supply and demand trends, there's currently about 8 months of inventory on the market for sale. In summary, this market is strong, particularly for aircraft with lower airframe and engine times. Most options currently on the market lean towards higher times, and are taking longer to sell. Supply and demand are balanced and in alignment.
