Citation CJ1+
Market SNAPSHOT

Over the past 12 months, inventory in the Citation CJ1+ market has remained relatively tight, with available inventory down to declining by 30% compared to a year ago. Despite fewer aircraft being offered for sale, average asking prices have softened by approximately 7%, reflecting a market where buyers continue to be disciplined and value-focused. Rather than chasing limited inventory, today's buyers are taking the time to compare aircraft carefully, placing greater emphasis on overall condition, maintenance pedigree, and long-term ownership value. The same trend is reflected in transaction activity. Days on market have increased 32% over the past year, while the market has recorded 12 retail sales during the same period, averaging about 1 aircraft sold per month. Although activity has moderated compared to earlier periods, it remains consistent with a smaller, specialized segment where buyers are willing to wait for the right aircraft, rather than compromise on quality or configuration. Looking at supply and demand, the market is currently carrying approximately 7.6 months of available inventory, indicating that quality aircraft remain relatively limited despite the more measured pace of transactions. For the CJ1+, buyers continue to place significant value on maintenance history, engine program participation, desirable specifications, and overall aircraft condition. While the ProLine 21 avionics suite provides a strong foundation across the fleet, aircraft with well-documented maintenance histories, desirable upgrades, and attractive specifications continue to generate the strongest buyer interest. In summary, the Citation CJ1+ market remains healthy, but increasingly selective. Limited inventory continues to support market stability, while disciplined buyers are rewarding aircraft that present well and offer strong long-term value. Based on the current market fundamentals, I would assign the Citation CJ1+ a B market demand rating.

Over the past 12 months, inventory in the Citation CJ1+ market has trended down, tightening supply compared to this time last year. Pricing has remained relatively stable, with only modest adjustments as the market continues to absorb available aircraft. Days on market have increased, now sitting roughly 39% higher than one year ago. Even with that shift, transaction activity has remain consistent with 15 retail sales over the past 12 months. Since the start of 2026, there have been three additional completed transactions, spanning 2006 to 2008 model-year aircraft. Based on current supply and demand trends, the segment is carrying about eight months of inventory, pointing to a relatively tight market where well-positioned aircraft continue to transact. What we're seeing in this segment is that buyers remain focused on overall condition, maintenance history, and engine program participation. On the avionics side, the CJ1+ already benefits from more modern baseline equipment, but aircraft with updated connectivity and refined interiors are seeing the strongest engagement. In summary, this market is competitive. The CJ1+ platform continues to perform well. It's a proven, efficient light jet with a broad buyer base and long-term OEM support. The underlying demand is what's sustaining transaction activity. What we're seeing now is straightforward. Well-positioned aircraft continue to transact and buyers are ready to move when the aircraft checks the right boxes.

The CJ1+ upgraded the original CJ1 with Williams FJ44-1AP engines that delivered improved performance at altitude and a more refined climb profile, along with avionics enhancements that modernized the flight deck without departing from the model's owner-pilot DNA. The cabin and systems architecture remained consistent with the CJ1, keeping transition training and maintenance familiar for operators already in the family. For buyers who want the proven CJ1 platform with meaningfully better performance and more current avionics, the CJ1+ represents a clear step forward at a modest premium over earlier examples.
