market UPDATE
The market continues to tighten with inventory levels down 29% from a year ago. The average asking price has remained stable over the past 12 months and the 900EX EASy's are selling at a faster pace. The days on the market has also decreased 27% from this time last year. There have been 18 retail sales over the past 12 months., and the vintages of the aircraft that have sold over the last 12 months range from 2004 to 2009 models. Based on recent supply and demand trends, there's currently about five months of inventory on the market for sale. In summary, this market's very active and stable. Aircraft with recent 2C or 4C inspections are selling at a premium due to parts and component availability, the ever-present corrosion issues, and significant landing gear overhaul backlogs. Supply and demand are balanced and in alignment. a 900EX easy market. As a seller's market, if you have recent major C checks, and a buyer's market for aircraft with 2 or 4C coming due in the next three years or less. I still give the 900EX easy market a balanced A plus demand rating.
