Over the past 12 months, inventory in the Caravan 208B market has increased, with a meaningful rise in available aircraft compared to this time last year. During the same period, pricing has adjusted approximately 11% year-over-year, reflecting a normalization following strong demand in prior periods. Even with the increase in available aircraft, Caravan 208Bs continue to transact at a steady pace. Days on market have remained relatively stable, indicating consistent buyer engagement across the segment. Despite the increase in inventory, transaction activity remains very active. There have been over 65 retail sales in the past 12 months, with continued momentum into early 2026. There have been 11 Caravan 208Bs sold in 2026 so far, spanning model years 1996 to 2007. Based on the recent supply and demand trends, there's currently about nine months of inventory on the market for sale. One thing we continue to see in this segment is that buyers are placing increased emphasis on maintenance visibility and operational history. Given in the Caravan's role across charter cargo. and fleet operations, aircraft with consistent maintenance programs, strong engine positioning, and well-documented logs tend to stand out and transact more efficiently. Buyers are also placing greater focus on avionics configuration, particularly when comparing legacy aircraft to later production models with integrated flight decks. In summary, the Caravan 208B continues to serve as a highly versatile and widely-utilized platform across multiple operational segments. Well-maintained and properly-configured aircraft continue to attract consistent buyer interest.
The Caravan 208B market is normalizing, with the inventory levels up by 15 aircraft from a year ago. This reflects a broader market normalization following the period of strong demand. As you would expect in this environment, pricing has adjusted modestly, with average asking prices down about 11% over the past 12 months. Even with the increase in available aircraft, Caravan 208Bs continue to transact at a steady pace. Days on market have increased slightly, up roughly 2% year-over-year, reflecting overall market stability. Over the past 12 months, there have been 69 retail transactions. Seven transactions occurred in December, with six additional Caravan 208Bs transacting since the beginning of 2026. The vintages of the aircraft that have sold since the beginning of December range from 2001 to 2011 models. Based on the recent supply and demand trends, there's currently about six months of inventory on the market for sale. In summary, this remains a strong market. The Caravan 208B benefits from ongoing production, long-term OEM support, and exceptional versatility. Supply and demand are balanced and in alignment. Overall, I'd categorize the Caravan 208B market as a seller's market and give it a B demand rating.
